Car Junkie - 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Specs. Aside from the new RAV4 variants Toyota should be proud of its hybrid, the RAV4 Hybrid is about to receive a number of refreshments for 2016 model year. The company says that the new hybrid version will be available in only XLE and Limited trim levels - which means consumers won't see them in the rest, even for the new SE is excluded.

Despite there are no details on pricing yet but Toyota has announced a couple upgrades and improvements for its new RAV4 Hybrid such as interior components, new USB port and TFT display with 7" touch screen.

From its body style the RAV4 Hybrid has much likeness that we can find in the Lexus NX as well as its power with 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and dual electric motor. In spite of similarity share-out, however, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid will only offer an all-wheel drive unit (Lexus LX goes in either FWD or AWD).

We may get trouble differing the hybrid to the other gasoline RAV4 since they massively resemble. Some flashy changes would be new restyled rear and front stripes, recessed fog lights as well as lower positioned bumper. So the full specs details are still awaited to go out of the box until the launch accomplished.

Toyota claims to retake its 8th hybrid up to 180 horsepower and additional thrills expected to boost its acceleration and respectable improved fuel economy. Eagerly to see how RAV4 Hybrid exactly comes.

Gas Mileage

Officials didn't mention any further regarding its engine changes besides a 6-speed automatic joined FWD in all standards. Expect the automaker to bring out head-to-head or even higher than its rival, Lexus RX crossover, which generates "33 mpg/city and 30mpg/hwy" - Toyota promises more, though. Two more tight competitors; Honda CR-V offering great comfort and impressive fuel efficiency - and Mazda CX-5 standing for its terrific handling and dashing posture.

The car has just debuted a couple weeks ago at the 2015 New York Auto Show, while when it comes to pricing there were no officials claimed nor signaled. Also expect to come with the same price as the ongoing model. Manufacturing cost may grow up over exterior refreshments.

Release Date

Still wondering how much this Hybrid impressing folks - yet we should notice that Toyota is a hard-working company. As other 2016 Toyota's lineup the new RAV4 Hybrid is scheduled to go on sale in the beginning of this fall.
